Right now I raise a few different chicken breeds and one breed of duck. I want to get another breed of duck (runners) and I'm thinking about getting geese as well.

Pictures Coming Soon....

Chickens I currently have Old English, Pheonix bantams, Black silkies, and a few mix breed chickens. I let my mixed breeds free range and I keep my OE, Pheonix, and silkies pened up to keep them pure. Due to a racoon attack I lost all my adult pheonix except for one rooster. I do have some chicks I hatched out earlier in the year that I still have so now the pheonix rooster is a free ranger as well.

Also my silkies aren't all that great as far as quality goes, plus for some reason the hens aren't laying eggs. I haven't changed a thing from last year and this year, only 3 out of 7 hens laid eggs. I got 2 dozen eggs out of them which I put in the incubator, of which only one was fertile. Then they laid another 2 dozen and I let them sit on the eggs and not one egg hatched, they weren't even fertile and I have 2 roosters in with them and the oldest roo is 3 years old and the youngest is almost a year now. So now I'm pretty sure I'm going to get rid of them and get some cochins instead and just keep the 2 silkie hens I have free ranging as brooders as they both laid eggs this year and one hatched out 12 chicks and the other 8 chicks.

Ducks I raise call ducks. I had a pair of whites and a pair of pastels. But I lost the white female over the winter, she was a late hatch and was small and died during one of our really cold New York nights. The pastel hen laid 9 eggs which only one hatched and went missing a week after hatching. The other eggs were rotten.

Then the hen laid another nest of 5 eggs and while she was sitting a racoon got into the coop and injured the white drake which the next day caused his death. The pastel drake got a broken leg so now he hops around on one leg and wont be able to breed the hen again. Then 3 days after the attack the hen hatched out 4 out of the 5 eggs she was sitting on. So I have a total of 6 call ducks.

I am looking for another pair of calls, not particular on the color and another pastel drake, I'm also looking for some runners. I've loved them from the time I saw them and again the color doesn't matter to me. If you have any reasonably priced calls or runners please e-mail me.
