Button Quail Pictures coming soon...
I have found the use of button quail in the aviary to be a well added benefit. Not only do they lay marbel sized eggs that you can eat like chicken eggs, but they also help clean up seed thrown out by other birds on the ground. Another added benefit is that they also will eat small insects such as seed moths and their larva. I will at times have eggs and or chicks/adults for sale. Eggs hatch in 16 days and they can be laying eggs at 6-8 weeks old but usually start around 12-15 weeks old. I have several different colored breeders including red-breasted silvers, pearl, normal and a few others. Fertile hatching eggs are $5.00/dozen plus any extras I have at the time of shipping. I ship ONLY fresh eggs no older then 7 days. I do NOT guarantee any type of hatch rates due to handling during shipment. I also o NOT guarantee color of chicks hatched from eggs, Adult birds are $10.00/pair when availiable. Please contact me for prices on St. run chicks. * 3/28 My buttons have just started laying eggs and I currently have 2 dozen eggs in the incubator. |
