Button Quail
Pictures coming soon...

I currently raise Button quail and I also have one lone Pharoah quail. I had 32 button quail I was breeding from but because of a racoon attack (we have many racoons around here), a few who have died of unknown causes and one escape I am down to 12 buttons. I also started out with 7 pharoah quail and because of the racoon I'm down to one. I'm looking for more pharoah quail and I might be getting more buttons in the fall.

I have gotten several eggs from the buttons which I have placed them all in the incubator, I had about 3 dozen eggs in the bator and then I checked on it and the temp was 110ºF, I have no idea how long it was at that temp and it fried all the eggs. I put in another half dozen and out of them I got one to hatch but it wasn't right to start with and it died off. I now have a bunch more eggs in the bator and if everything goes well they should be hatching in early July.

I FINALLY got some button eggs to hatch. I had 6 out of 10 eggs hatch, one got spraddle legs badly and I wasn't able to correct it so I put it down and another one was really weak to start with and it also died. So I was left with 4 buttons which are now about 4 weeks old, I can now sex hem and 3 are cocks and 1 is a hen, which is just my luck.

Then I had another hatch of 10 out of 16 eggs which are a week old now and growing fast. Then 3 days later I had another hatch of 7 out of 10 eggs which are growing fast as well. My incubator is full of eggs and I'm due for another hatch at the end of this week and one every week from then on. I just keep filling up the turner. I have 20+ eggs in with my socks waiting to go into the incubator. I'm going to have to start up another incubator to deal with all my eggs. Plus I lost a hen from egg binding so I'm not getting as many eggs as I used to and the pharoah quail is laying one egg every day which I keep to pickel and they taste GREAT.

I'm looking for more pharoah quail, some more hens at a cock or two, If you have any forsale please let me know.
